This course complies with the requirements of the BOC (Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification) and the ABC (American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics) .

• 4 day entry level course.
• The Orthotic Fitter Course is designed to give the participant a basic understanding of orthopedic anatomy and an awareness of appropriate uses of pre-fabricated orthoses.
• The Orthotic Fitter will be able to fit, apply, remove and care for common spinal and extremity orthoses.
• BOC Approved: 26.5 CPE Credits
• Duration: 30 hours.
• After meeting the examination eligibility requirements, the participant may take the orthotic fitter certification examination through the BOC or ABC.
